THE IMPOSSIBLE PROJECT proudly presents carefully saved, stored and tested Polaroid film in a very limited Special Edition, designed by Paul Giambarba, who created the iconic look of Polaroid from 1957 to 1977.
This package has passed all tests and can be enjoyed until 12/2010 and beyond. Meanwhile THE IMPOSSIBLE PROJECT will continue to define and develop a new instant film to be introduced in early 2010.Tomorrow, The Impossible Shop will in fact start selling that film, their very own monochrome instant film, in two different versions, PX 100 and PX 600. This film is for users of the Polaroid SX-70 camera. You can read more about the film here. New color film should be available this summer.
One part of this ride I would like to point out really quickly is a section of brick houses near Wrigley Field called Alta Vista Terrace. The district was built in 1904 in imitation of the rowhouse style of London (this sentence was copy & pasted directly from Wikipedia). It is an awesome street with a super homey feel, probably one of my favorite blocks in the Northside neighborhoods, and definitely worth checking out. There are pillars on both entrances to the street that point it out. Phish will perform at tonight's 2010 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony beginning at 8:30PM EST. The private ceremony will take place at The Waldorf-Astoria tonight and will be televised live on FuseTV and at http://www.fuse.tv . In addition, Trey will have the privilege of inducting Genesis into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at the ceremony.
The 2010 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees were chosen by the 500 voters of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation.
